Overview
A wooden wine box does something a paper box rarely does: it gets kept. A hinged box that holds one bottle often stays on a shelf or in a cellar after the wine is gone, with your name still on the lid. Yuan Packaging makes custom wooden boxes alongside the rigid gift boxes, labels and carrier bags we produce for wine and spirits brands, so the box can be specified together with the rest of the bottle's packaging.
The boxes on this page were made for Sidus, a wine brand whose labels we also print. Each holds a single bottle, has box-jointed corners and a lid on brass hinges, and is made of plywood. One is painted black with the logo printed in gold. The other, a VIP tasting edition marked not for sale, has a wood finish that shows the grain, with the logo engraved. The same construction can be made in solid pine or any other type of wood.
Our current wooden box work is for wine, but a wooden box is not limited to wine. The same box can be made as a wooden gift box for spirits, tea, food gift sets or a cosmetics coffret, sized to the product and fitted with an insert to hold it. Plywood

Frequently asked questions
Do you make wooden wine boxes in China to order, or sell stock boxes?
We make them to order in China and do not sell stock boxes. Each wooden wine box is custom-made to your bottle: send the bottle or its dimensions, and the box and the insert that holds the bottle are made to fit it. The minimum order is 500 boxes. The Sidus boxes on this page are plywood, one painted black with a gold-printed logo and one in a wood finish with an engraved logo; solid pine or another wood is also possible.
What is the minimum order for wooden wine boxes?
The minimum order is 500 boxes, for wooden wine boxes and wooden gift boxes alike. Send the size, the wood and the finish with your quantity and we will quote against that specification.
How long does production take?
Production takes 15–20 working days after artwork approval; complex gift boxes take 25–30 working days. These are the same lead times as our rigid gift boxes. Chinese New Year 2027: our factory closes for the first seven days of the holiday (about 6–12 February). Production runs before and after the break; please confirm timing on your quote.
