Overview
Bottle and gift-set carriers are narrower and deeper than a general retail bag because they are built around a specific packed product. The dimensions should follow the bottle, rigid box or complete set rather than a convenient stock bag size.
Weight and hard corners make the base and handle decisions central to the brief. Sampling the carrier with the real pack reveals whether it sits square, lifts cleanly and leaves enough clearance without allowing the contents to move unnecessarily.
A bottle or gift-set carrier is a paper bag proportioned around a footprint: a narrow front face, a deep side gusset and a base sized to the pack it holds. A board in the base keeps that footprint flat under a heavy load, and the handles are fixed into a turned-in top band in the same way as on a retail carrier. Because the bag is narrow, the side gussets make up a large share of what is seen, so their artwork is planned with the front panel rather than left plain by default.

Can the carrier be sized for one bottle or a gift set?
Yes. The format is dimensioned around the actual bottle, boxed bottle or complete gift set. Send the finished pack dimensions and weight so the bag can be developed against the real load.
Can the bag match the gift box artwork?
Yes. Both can be sampled to the same physical colour reference, while adjustments are made for the different paper surfaces and forming of each item.
Does a bottle bag need a board in the base?
Usually, because a full bottle or a boxed set concentrates its weight and hard edges on a small footprint. The board is cut to the base so it sits flat; whether a lighter set can do without it is decided on the loaded sample.
Besides the pack size, what should a bottle bag enquiry include?
The order quantity, the artwork or a rough layout, the handle you prefer and the paper surface, coated or kraft. If the bag should match an existing gift box, include the box's colour reference. Then give the delivery country, the date you need the bags and, for the EU or the UK, whether you want DDP or DAP.
